I never expected anything from this animated before and I blew my mind. When I first saw The Revenant, it reminded me of a Terrance Malik film, one of my favorite directors. The only other films that have affected me this way are Apocalypse Now, Baraka, & A New World. Iñárritus visceral, epic tale of survival and betrayal inspired by true events thats set in Americas uncharted wilderness. There is movie in my mind, but the favorable but best movie means having a certain style that symbolizes a symbol of an movie to tell a story from the moving pictures of both an entity and a turning point of an existence. The Revenant is now on my list of jaw-dropping films, and Im keeping an eye out for more films by Alejandro González Iñárritu. Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hardy star in Alejandro G. Like the best, though, for me, it can be considered the most beautiful movie ever made.
